#3 Summer Creek has never beaten #1 North Shore and taking them down on the road would be a tough task.
Second play of the game, Kaleb Bailey would get the Mustangs on the board early with the deep ball. He goes 61 yards to Terrence Guillory who races down the sidelines for the touchdown. North Shore off to their traditional fast start.
Mustangs get the ball back, but Bailey doesn't see LSU commit, Xavier Atkins, in the flats who gets the interception and takes it to the 2 where Summer Creek would later score. 7-0 Bulldogs.
2nd quarter, down 14-7, Bulldogs facing a 4th and 2, but Lloyd Avant gets much more then those 2 yards. He gets 31 and a house call. We're tied at 14.
North Shore gets the ball back and Bailey with the play action pass to Cameron Smith for a 28 yard connection. Mustangs take a 21-14 lead into the break.
3rd quarter, Summer Creek still down 7, North Shore defense falls for the Blake Thomas fake to the left, leaving Kordell Rogers wide up on the right and we are tied going into the fourth at 21 a piece.
Halfway through the 4th, Bailey on the keeper up the middle for 14 yards to break the tie. They would tack on a field goal to extend their district winning streak to 39 games. North Shore wins it 31-21
