And Strake’s defense haunts George Ranch early, as the Longhorns air it out deep to the end zone but there’s Nick Cassapo leaping for the Crusaders interception to keep things scoreless.
Strake gets its ground game going in the 2nd, as Dylan Campbell hops over a defender and into the end zone for a 4 yard score, it’s 7-0 Crusaders.
The run game sets up the play-action pass and here’s Strake’s William Dickason launching one deep for Robert Smith. That’s a nice 50-yard gain down to the Longhorns 30 yard line.
A few plays later, it’s Campbell once again. He finds the end zone from 6 yards out and Strake Jesuit leads 13-0 at intermission.
In third, it’s Campbell punching it in again, this time it’s a 2 yard touchdown run and the Crusaders lead 20-0 after 3.
But Campbell isn’t done. He delivers the Gettysburg Address...Four Scores! He rushes for 191 yards and Strake Jesuit clinches a playoff spot with a 27-14 win over George Ranch.
