Stafford Spartans vs. Sweeny Bulldogs - 2013 Football - Week 8

Stafford Spartans putting perfection on the line, making the road trip to Sweeny. All is well for the Spartans early in the second half, Adrian Seals scores from 2 yards out for a 28-14 lead. But the Bulldogs battle, Dorland Fields breaks loose and rumbles 74 big yards no defenders in sight Sweeny within 7, 28-21. Then the Bulldog D comes up big, Samson Bankole looking to pass, but Zedrick White steps in front of the intended receiver and goes pick-six to tie the game at 28-all. Later the Spartans re-claim the lead in a beautiful pass-catch combo from Kyle Thompson to Taylor Givens the 19-yard score makes it 35-28 Stafford. Sweeny making it interesting though as Cody Erickson finds the zone from 5 yards out we're tied again 35-35. This one goes to double overtime with Seals finally sealing the victory for the Spartans in an epic battle. 50-49 the final as Stafford remains perfect on the year.
