Both of these teams undefeated on the season and fired up in front of a great crowd. Demarion Stamps and we're going the other way - he's got a lot of green and a convoy of defenders, the Westfield defense puts the Mustangs out to a 7-0 lead...
Davenport would Redeem himself on the next possession as he gets out of trouble, keeps this play alive... and delivers a strike to Braylen Martin from 33 yards out, what a play! we're tied at 7.
Westfield with a talented Quarterback of their own, Cardell Williams throws one of the best balls of the game, dropping this dime to Da'John Palomo to retake the lead, 14-7.
Later in the 2nd quarter that combination would strike once again as everyone bites on the fake (including our cameraman!) - Williams finding Palomo wide open for the touchdown, the Mustangs are up 28-7 at the half.
After the intermission, Spring would rally with a little trickeration as they cut the lead in half again with Myron Carter on the halfback pass to Martin.
With 9 minutes left to play, Davenport hits Joshua Lopez over the middle to cut the lead to 7...
Later in the 4th, Spring looking to get the game tied but the Westfield defense steps up again, Kiemond emillien (eee-meal--ee-un) ices this one with the interception and Westfield gets their revenge winning this one by a final of 31-21.
