What a good one at Strake Jesuit as the Crusaders took on Spring.
First quarter, Jesuit quarterback Bryce Fucik (Few-sick) rolls out and finally sees Cooper Fulbright open....Fulbright has to wait on the ball but good things happen to those who wait....its a 60 yard touchdown. 7-0 Crusaders.
Lions would take a 13-7 lead in the second quarter when Quarterback A J Williams fakes the handoff and jogs in for the 7 yard score.
Things get interesting in the 4th quarter. Up 14-13, Fucik rolls to his right and as he's getting hit, throws it in the end zone where Chico Holt makes a wonderful fingertip catch to make it 21-13 Strake Jesuit
Williams and Spring weren't done. Check out the hesitation move on this run and it gets Williams free to the end zone putting Spring down 2 with just under 2 to play.
Lions will go for the 2 point conversion to tie and Williams connects with Ahran (Ah-ron) Ogbor (Og-bore) and we're all tied up at 21.
But with 19 seconds left, the Crusaders refuse to lose. That's Devin Baylor busts it in from the 11 to win it for Strake Jesuit. Final score 28-21.
