Shadow Creek Hoops Has Had an Epic Season
If you are curious to why Shadow Creek was a favorite going into this week’s U-I-L playoffs, take a look at the numbers. Because the numbers don’t lie. 31 wins….most in school history. 14-0 district record….best in school history. And going into Friday’s area round game, the Sharks had won 23 consecutive games with their last loss coming November 28th. Head Coach David President has put together a team that absolutely hates to lose It all starts with junior point guard, Michael Collins. Certified shot maker. He averages 22.2 points per game and when he catches fire from behind the arc, it’s going to be a long night for the Sharks opponent. Then there’s the double double machine, Kaden Tate. A senior forward who doesn’t the little things to get the wins and doesn’t need any attention. Although his teammates are happy to give it to him anyway. The Sharks have gotten a huge boost from guard, Bryce Jackson. He missed most of his sophomore year with a broken ankle and almost all of this year with a sprained ankle. But he returned to the lineup a week ago and that has lit another spark under this Shadow Creek team.
