Shadow Creek 42, Manvel 6 | Sharks Stay Unbeaten in District 19-6A

October 22, 2026
Shadow Creek stays unbeaten in District 19-6A with a 42-6 win over Manvel, powered by rushing TDs, a 56-yard score, and two defensive interceptions.

Four shutouts on one side, nearly 45 points per game on the other — something had to give when Shadow Creek and Manvel met in District 19-6A play. The offense won out, decisively.

The Sharks wasted little time establishing control. Julian Mathis carried the load in the first half, finding the end zone twice on the ground to put Shadow Creek firmly in command before halftime.

Manvel showed some fight in the third quarter. Quarterback Brayden Tuiasosopo threaded a bullet to Carter St. Junious, who made a diving grab at the pylon to keep the Mavericks within reach. But Shadow Creek answered quickly. Jacier Pace hit a crease on a delay, found open field, and turned it into a 56-yard touchdown that effectively ended any suspense.

The Sharks defense matched the offense's production, coming up with two interceptions — including one by Brandon Sherrard that gave Shadow Creek excellent field position deep in Manvel territory.

The final score came on one of the more memorable plays of the night. Tavis Coleman, seemingly caught in the backfield, launched a pass downfield that Jaylen Addai hauled in with one hand — a spectacular grab that put the finishing touch on a 42-6 final.

Shadow Creek remains unbeaten in District 19-6A, and the statement win over a Manvel program known for its defensive toughness only adds to the Sharks' case as one of the top teams in the Houston area.
