Fort Bend Travis fired up as the Tigers host Ridge Point…
Travis up one at halftime and the Tigers add to their lead as Justin Hill cuts to the basket for two.
Then it’s Travis in transition, and Mekhi McIntyre (Muh-kye) is all alone in the corner for three and he splashes it home for the Tigers.
Ridge Point responds at the other end as Kolby Granger cuts to the hoops and lays it in for two of his 18 points on the night.
Then the Panthers heat up from outside the arc, first Elijah Thomas buries the three from the top of the key. And moments later Mike Wooten sinks one from the corner, and Ridge Point leads by two heading to the fourth.
Travis counters with the great ball movement to Cam Oliver, who drives, draws the contact, and gets the shot to fall for the three-point play.
Ridge Point showcasing some passing as well, Caleb Hill with the nice dish to Granger for the layin. Panthers up by 3.
But Hill creates the spark for Travis, he gets the steal and takes off the other way and throws it down for one-hand dunk.
Then it’s McIntyre attacking the basket, he follows his own miss and puts it back for two more of his 15 points, Tigers up 5.
Later it’s Hill driving, bucket and the foul, he leads the way with 22 points, and Fort Bend Travis holds off Ridge Point, 72-66 is the final.
