Richmond Randle vs Frisco Liberty - 2023 Week 28 Girls Basketball Highlights

In their only 2nd year of varsity sports, Richmond Randle found themselves in the 5A girls state tournament against defending champs, Frisco Liberty. First quarter, no one decides to cover Alaysia (Uh-LAY-shuh) Cook so she takes advantage and goes right to the rack for a bucket. Then Cook gets it behind the arc and again no one covers her....that's a 3 ball. 10 first quarter points for Cook and the Lions were right in this one. Liberty was too big and strong. Top sophomore in the nation, Jacy Abii (Uh-bee) misses, gets her own rebound and scores. RedHawks led 35-14 at the half. Second half, Lions geta nice burst from Kurynn (Kur-en) McNeill.....She scored 13 in the second half alone. But the Lions couldn't get close.
