East Bernard faced Refugio in a rematch from last years 2A -- II final, Refugio has one of the most decorated quarterbacks in 2A history in Travis Quintanilla, but the Brahmas tip the pass and Garrett Polak takes the interception back 48 yards for a 7-0 East Bernard lead. East Bernard forced Quintanilla into 4 picks in the first half. The Brahama offense was clicking as well, Cedrick Perkins goes off on a 67 yard touchdown run and it was 27 -- 19 East Bernard at the half. 3rd quarter and Quintanilla has found his rythym, the touchdown pass to Tyler Castellano pulls the Bobcats to with in 2 27-25.
