If you talk to Stratford Head Coach Eliot Allen about his star running back, Rakeem Boyd positive words are easy to find, just like Boyd finding the end zone on a Friday night. In 2014 the Spartan running back burst on to the recruiting scene to the tune of over twenty-five-hundered yards with 29 touchdowns and the college offers followed suit. But for Boyd there was only one place he wanted to continue his playing career. During his Senior season Boyd helped lead the Spartans to an 10-2 record and took home District MVP honors. Come February he was finally able to put pen to paper and live out a childhood dream. Under the lights Boyd is as focused and determined as they come, but when he's not on the field, making others laugh is his game. Well business will continue for this Spartan next year, but as an Aggie under Head Coach Kevin Sumlin.
