Playoffs Week 5 - Navasota Rattlers vs. Liberty Hill Panthers - 2014 Football

We go to the house that Drayton built, McLane Stadium in Waco where Navasota took on Liberty Hill in 4A Division 1 state semifnal action. Liberty Hill jumps on the Rattlers early, the 53 yard touchdown run by Caleb Guerin makes it 20-7 in the 2nd quarter and the upset alert was in effect. But undefeated and number one ranked Navasota bounces back Shelton Eppler throws to Jerbrell Lipscomb for a long gain to the 14. This sets up a td pass from Eppler out to Da'Tron Taylor cutting the Liberty Hill lead to 20-14. Still in the 2nd, Liberty Hill facing 4th down and the Panthers fake the punt, Lindsay Hunter reels it in and takes it all the way inside the 5, what a call for the Panthers. That set up this td run by Caleb Gurin around the end making it 26-14, but Navasota would only trail at the half 26-21. 3rd quarter and Navasota keeps coming back, Eppler makes another big td pass this time to Ellis Jones to take their first lead 28-26. Eppler again with a td pass to this time to Tren'Davian Dickson making it 35-26 Navasoata at the end of the 3d qtr. and the comeback is complete, Navasota rolls to a 49-26 victory and the Rattlers are headed to the state championship for the 2nd time in 3 years where they will take on Argyle.
