Still in the first, Rodney Anderson busts up the middle and breaks loose for a 50 yard touchdown run. It was 17-0 Katy as Anderson was on his way to a 225 yard and 3 touchdown performance on just 14 carries. The Katy defense was just as dominant, in the 2nd Qtr. Sy Slater with the pick 6 as he takes the interception return 26 yards and it was 31-0 Katy before Memorial had even made a first down. Right before the end of the 1st half Garrett Doiron gets it done through the air, the 18 yard Touchdown Pass to Tony Mullins, it was 41-0 at halftime and the Tigers obliterate the Mustangs 76-14.
