Second round playoff game over at Hall Stadium as Pearland travels to take on Fort Bend Austin. 1st quarter 1st offensive play of the game for the Oilers and the snap is way over the head of the quarterback Kalen Jackson who wisely bats the ball out of the endzone for the safety as the Bulldogs grab a 2-0 lead. Austin now throwing from their own enszone and the pass by Seun Aboderin is picked off by Jason King giving Pearland great field position. They would take advantage a few plays later, as Jacolbie Butler runs it in from 10 yards out for the touchdown. 7-2 Oilers now on top. 2nd quarter, after Austin is forced to punt to the Oilers, Butler gets the call again and he takes this one the distance, an 82 yard touchdown run for Butler to make it 14-2 Pearland on top. Then just before the half, the Oilers hand it to their big bruising running back Hayden Cole and he rumbles in from 9 yards out for another Pearland touchdown, 21-2 Oilers in front and Pearland rolls to another playoff victory, 39-15 over the Austin Bulldogs.
