Pearland High School Volleyball - Chevy Spotlight

Lining up across from the Pearland Lady Oilers Volleyball team is a daunting task these days! That’s in large part because of the power hitting duo of Hannah Off-Char-Zack and Brooke Botkin. Add in a strong senior class, strong leadership and you have one of the top programs in the state. For Head Coach John Turner, this year’s group has the potential to challenge for a state championship. That’s quite possible as this year’s team is loaded with talent, experience and motivation. The motivation comes from being upset in the 2nd round by Clear Falls last season. Junior Brooke Botkin is a big reason why Coach Turner feels optimistic about a long playoff run. As a freshman she verbally committed to play at USC and like most young phenomes has lofty aspirations.
