Eddie Smith is a deceptively quick defensive lineman for the Dawson Eagles. It’s rare to find a 6’6, 250 pounder that holds the school record in the 40, but that tells you how fast Smith truly is. And he uses that speed to get to the quarterback. Eddie had 8 career sacks going into this year and has 3 already through the Eagles first 4 games. Smith can be counted on to blow by his blocker and drop the ball carrier for a loss. He has verbally committed to Texas Tech.
