North Shore vs Atascocita - Game of the Week

There was a 75 minute lightning delay before this one started and once it did, the Mustangs brought the Thunder

Especially Dematrius Davis who zigs and zags his way to the pilon from 18 yards out to give North Shore the quick score.

You want to see a back breaker. How about the Eagles having North Shore pinned at their own 3 and then Daveon Ford cuts to the right and just takes off. With a full head of speed he looks like he'll get the 97 yard score, but he's stripped. No matter, David Amador falls on it in the red zone.

A couple plays later, Shadrach Banks scores one of his 3 touchdowns on the day.

Defensively, North Shore's Ta'Von Griffin is having quite a couple weeks. This is his second pick 6 in as many days as he puts the Mustangs up 28-0 and we're still in the first.

But Davis was the man. He threw for 320 yards and ran for another 135 including this 51 yard touchdown. North Shore takes down Atascocita 63-14 to finish 10-0.
