North Shore Mustangs vs. Bush Broncos - 2013/14 Boys Basketball - 03/01/14

North Shore and Bush were the two highest ranked teams during the regular season so it was fitting that they squared off in the 5A region 3 final. 1st quarter Bush with some slick passing on the run to Brandon Jones who swoops in for the dunk, and Bush built a 16-7 lead late in the 1st. 2nd North Shore settles in, Jalin Hart pumps in midair to tie the game @ 20. The game would be tied at 30 at the half because while this fallaway from Hart may have been the greatest shot ever made, it was clearly after the buzzer and didn't count. The squads continued to battle in the 3rd, Donald Monroe & Kerwin Roach trade threes, North Shore was up 44-42 heading into the 4th. Under 2 mins to play Jalin Hart drives and 1, 56-53 there. Hart is only 5-10 and isn't considered a top prospect, but he had the biggest game of anyone on the floor on Saturday propelling North Shore to its 1st state tournament appearance in 17 years 60-58.
