First place was on the line in district 21-4A as Wheatley and North Forest went at it. First quarter all Wheatley ..literally....Meashell Crosby hits the 3. Ariel Taylor follows with a 3. Wheatley led 11-0 after one. Joi Simmons leads North Forest back. first with the 3. then Simmons banks in a 3, she scored 14 points in a row. then North Forest's La'mycia Hamilton hits the 3 at the buzzer. North Forest outscores Wheatley 17-5 in the 2nd quarter and leads 17-16 at the half.. 2nd half. La'mycia Hamilton hits the 3 and North Forest leads by 11 29-18.. 12-2 run to start the 3rd. But, here comes Wheatley , Meashell Crosby hits the 3....Wheatley within 2 39=37 then Crosby another 3, from the same spot and Wheatley grabs a 40-39 lead...... Joi Simmons then drives for two and gets fouled...North Forest foes up 44-42. Wheatley answers again...Erika Sydney lays it in fro 2 with :55 left..all tied at 44. But North Forest La'mycia will hit a free throw late..North Forest wins it 45-44
