Big 8-5A Division 1 matchup as LaPorte took on New Caney Porter
Look at LaPorte's running back, Ricky Sandolph....so elusive...no one can quite get their arms around him and he makes a house call...7-0 Bulldogs.
And then for Porter, there's Keanu Palmer...who just uses pure speed on his 75 yard touchdown run. Look at him put his head down and just keep trucking. Spartans up 14-7.
After a Porter touchdown makes the score 21 all, the Spartans have to kickoff. And you know if we're showing it, it's either a touchdown or a boo-boo.....and Landon Kay isn't making a mistake on this one....ninety....five....yards and the Bulldogs are up 28-21.
But check this out. 3 seconds before half, Payton Evans-Pickens launches a 40 yard dime to Aaron Gilliam for the tying T-D...and Hello, Aaron...nice to meet you, my guy.
But Sandolph would deliver the final blow. I'm telling you, he just won't go down......watch him keep his balance and go 27 yards for his 5th touchdown of the night. 56-42 LaPorte wins it.
