Navasota Rattlers vs. Wheatley Wildcats - 2014 Football - Week 10

4A’s top ranked Navasota took on Wheatley, both teams were undefeated in district 11-4A division 1. 1st quarter, Lamarquis Jefferson waltzes in for a short touchdown to give the Rattlers an early 7-0 lead. If you’ll recall last basketball season Tren’Davian Dickson had this slam in the regional semifinals against West Orange Stark. Dickson shows he can slam opposing running backs to the turf with similar authority as Darius Garner feels the heat. Wheatley has some good defense of it’s own courtesy of Darrin Bradley who brings down Shelton Eppler. A bit later on, Navasota cracks through again though, Jefferson has to break a few tackles this time, but he just gets in and it’s 14-0 Rattlers. 2nd quarter, Shelton Eppler swings it over to Sammy Blair. Blair gets a nice pick up before being brought down at the Wheatley 19 yard line. On the next play, Eppler fires it to Tren’ Davion Dickson for the touchdown, Navasota moves to 9-0 with the 56-0 win.
