Nate Ray Throws 4 TDs as Stafford Tops Willowridge 35-7 | Texas Oncology Team of the Week

Two undefeated teams in District 10-4A Division 1 met with first-place implications on the line, and Stafford's Nate Ray made sure there was no doubt about the outcome.

Ray got the Spartans on the board first with a keeper, breaking to the outside and dragging a defender into the end zone. Fort Bend Willowridge responded immediately — on the very next possession, Ameer Carter took a handoff up the middle, made one cut, and turned a 75-yard run into a 7-7 tie.

Stafford took control before halftime. Ray scrambled out of the pocket and fired a touchdown strike to Aiden Seales in the back of the end zone, giving the Spartans a 21-7 lead at the break. The second half belonged to Ray as well — he connected with Maddox Pitre on a well-adjusted route midway through the third quarter, then capped his night by throwing back to Corey Richardson for his fourth touchdown of the game.

Stafford won its second straight, 35-7, and earned Texas Oncology Team of the Week recognition for the performance.
