Lake Creek is an offensive machine and they were hoping to outscore Port Neches-Groves Friday afternoon.
First quarter, Lake Creek's Eli Morcos is just chilling in the pocket until he spots Sam Lee wide open. That's a 34 yard touchdown and the Lions are up 7-0.
3rd quarter, Lake Creek found themselves down 23-7 and looking to change the momentum. That's when the defense makes a play by popping the ball loose.....Davis Lee is there for the scoop and score and the Lions only trailed by 10.
3 minutes left in the game, down 10, Morcos and Lee connect again on a 20 yard touchdown and the Lions are down 30-27.
One last chance for Lake Creek. Morcos....keeping the play alive and then he goes deep but the ball is picked off by William Poole. That would end the game and the season for Lake Creek as they lose 30-27.
