Meet UT's Top 2026 Recruits from Houston: Bishop & Co. Shine

The University of Texas has secured commitments from some of Houston's top high school football players for their 2026 recruiting class. Leading the group is Jermaine Bishop from Willis High School, a versatile player expected to excel on both offense and defense. Alongside Bishop are Chris Stewart, a speedy wide receiver from Shadow Creek; Nicholas Robertson, a strong offensive guard from Klein; and Kosi Okpala, a quick outside linebacker from Mayde Creek. These athletes are anticipated to significantly bolster UT's football program, following in the footsteps of legendary Longhorns from the Houston area.
