Manvel Mavericks vs. Pearland Oilers - 2013 Football - Week 9

Pearland responds Oiler QB Kalen Johnson goes far sideline to Jacoby Lewis and Lewis will race in for the score 33 yd touchdown game tied at 7. Late in the half Manvel drives down to the 4 and it's D'Eriq King with the keeper near sideline touchdown Manvel 14-7 Mavs at the half. 3rd quarter, more Mavs King back to pass from the 45 he goes over the middle to Jamond Manuel and nobody will catch Jamond 21-7 Manvel. 4th quarter, Manvel at the 29 it's King looking endzone and he hits Reggie Hemphill-Mapps in stride touchdown Mavs 28-7 And the capper, Mavs at the 13 the give to Jacoby Perro, he dives and they say he's in for the touchdown, 35-7 Manvel goes onto win 42-7, and that earns a shower for Maverick Coach Kirk Martin. It means a lot, it means we have a lot of momentum, we beat a pretty good Pearland team and we hope to win state. Great receiver play great blocking on the edge, terrific quarter back play the running backs ran well blocked well but defensively they kept giving us the ball back and our kids did a good job with it. That's a terrific team on the other side of the field, our goal is to win undefeated district championships 3 years in a row, and we play well at home, and our guys got after it tonight.
