Manvel Lady Mavericks vs. Hightower Lady Hurricanes 2013 Basketball Week 7

The Hightower Hurricanes hosting Manvel in 5A playoff action and the Mavericks make it known early that there will be no home court advantage tonight. Right off the tip Manvel's Jordan Hosey with a quick strike to the hoop for an easy deuce. Manvel then works the ball down low to their star center Brianna Turner who nails the turnaround jumper for 2 more and a 5 point Manvel lead. Not much was going right for the Hurricanes but Adrianna Wooten did her part, the easy layup on this fast break gives Hightower some hope. Manvel now on the run and Brianna Turner is there on the trailer for the putback and a 13 point Mavericks lead. Manvel continues to crash the boards hard, Diakira Powers gets the putback this time to extend the Manvel lead.
