Lauren Stifflemire, Clements High School Volleyball - Chevy Spotlight

It’s a term used in every sport and by just about every coach; “that athlete always gives 110%” but Clements Head Volleyball Coach, Jenny Adcock, says she has a senior that gives that and more every time she steps on the court. Lady Ranger senior outside hitter Lauren Stifflemire lives and breathes volleyball. She didn’t pick up the sport until fifth grade but since then has become one of the best in the area, even with some people saying she is not your prototypical outside hitter. Lauren has been dominant on the court so far this year, posting triple-doubles so often James Harden would be jealous and she hopes to carry that dominance through district play and into a deep playoff run. If you catch a Clements volleyball game this season and aren’t sure which player Lauren is, just find the pink headband; she wears it any time she plays, but something tells me the play on the court will be more than enough to spot her.
