Huge game in 8-5A Division 1 as Barbers Hill played host to LaPorte
Late first quarter, Barbers Hill Quarterback Cody Fuentes can't find anyone to his left so he turns to his left and drops it off to Evan Holguin (Hole-gwen) for the score. Eagles up 14-0.
second quarter, here comes the Bulldogs, Tyreese Barnes find the hole and takes off for a 39 yard touchdown run. Laporte down 14-7.
Fuentes answers back with his arm. that's a 44 yard bomb to Connor Cowen and Barbers Hill is back up 21-7.
How about some trickery out of Laporte. Jaylon Stough (Stow) on the half back option and he connects with Caden Hisatake (His-uh-ta-key) for a 50 yard touchdown that cuts the Barbers Hill lead to 7 at the break.
Barnes would bring the Bulldogs back. This 40 yard touchdown run on 4th and 4 late in the 4th puts LaPorte up 35-21 and they would win it 35-28
