Langham Creek Lobos vs. Cy Fair Bobcats - 2013 Football - Week 3
The slick conditions took their toll early on, as the game was delayed an hour and a half and that ball just wasn't gonna stay dry. On the opening series Langham Creek's Nico Costanzo knocks the ball loose and the Lobos recover. Costanzo gets it done on the other end as well, taking the direct snap for a short touchdown and an early 8-0 Langham Creek lead. The weather wasn't dampening the spirit of the Lobo faithful, but Mother Nature struck again as the stadium had to be emptied for a weather delay, and the teams didn't get back on the field until Saturday morning. 2nd quarter Cy Fair's Chandler Brockman swings it over to Drew Tobler and Tobler pounds his way in to put the Bobcats up 11-8. The Lobos driving, but Quintero Baker jumps in front of the Kyle Cutbirth pass and takes it the other way, he turns up the jets and gets all the way down to the Langham Creek 5 before being ushered out, however Cy Fair would have to settle for a field goal and a 14-8 lead at the half. Since neither band had a full unit, the two squads came together to perform. The Cy Fair D kept the Lobos out of the end zone in the 2nd half, and grinded out the victory 14-11.
