Lake Creek Softball Edges College Station 5-4 Behind Sara Wiggins HR

The Lake Creek Lions softball team faced off against College Station in a competitive road game featured on HOU Inside High School Sports. In the bottom of the third inning, Madalyn Davis singled to bring home Addie Davis, tying the score at 1-1. Lake Creek took control in the fourth inning when shortstop Annelise Torres hit a double to score Gracee Brewer, extending the lead to 4-1. The standout player of the game was Sara Wiggins, who not only recorded key strikeouts in the circle but also hit a towering home run over the center field wall. That homer proved to be the deciding factor as Lake Creek held on to win 5-4.
