Klein Oak Vs. Klein Collins - 2019 Week 6 Football Highlights

Wild game over in Klein, as Klein Oak takes on Klein Collins.

It’s tied at 7 in the 2nd, when Klein Collins running back Braelon Bridges makes a move and cuts upfield, he goes 13 yards for the score, and the Tigers lead 14-7 at halftime.

In the third, Klein Oak’s Montrell Bolton fires into the end zone for Dwight McGlothern, it’s a 21-yard scoring strike that ties the game up at 14-apiece.

After a Collins field goal, the Panthers give it to Elijah Durden. He slips out of a tackle and then turns on the jets. He races 74 yards before he’s brought down at the 2. That leads to a score and Klein Oak leads 21-17.

Klein Collins quickly strikes back. Colby Powers hits a wide open Bryson Metoyer, it’s a 49-yard touchdown pass and the Tigers reclaim the lead, 24-21.

Klein Oak not backing down. Bolton throws a thunderbolt to McGlothern, it hits him in stride, perfect pitch and catch for a 62 yard touchdown, Panthers go back in front 28-24.

It’s 28-27 in the fourth, when Klein Oak’s Charles Garrett almost loses the handle, but he gets it back and goes 14 yards for the score, that makes it 35-27 Klein Oak.

Klein Oak up 35-33 late in the fourth and trying to run out the clock, but Blake Okoye punches the ball out and Trent Ward recovers the fumble for the Tigers.

So Klein Collins has a 47-yard field goal for the win...but it’s just off the mark, and Klein Oak stuns Klein Collins 35-33 is the final.
