Klein Forest hits the road to take on Klein Cain…
In the first, Klein Forest on the run, Daylan Hamilton goes up for the finish and he’s fouled for a 3-point play the old-fashioned way.
Klein Cain can push the tempo as well, Hurricanes get it to Xavier Owens who is all alone with two-hand jam.
Final seconds of the first, Hamilton with the tricky step-back move for three and he nails it at the buzzer, but Klein Cain leads by 3 at intermission.
Moving to the third, and check out the spin-move by Hamilton, basket and the foul, and he might have even impressed himself with that one!
Then it’s Klein Forest with some defense, Abraham Walls with the steal and he dishes to Albert Thomas for the dunk.
Time winding down in the third, and Hamilton does it again, another buzzer-beating three! He posts a double-double with 38 points and 10 rebounds.
In the fourth, Marion Williams with the steal for the Golden Eagles, he takes it all the way for the layup, and Klein Forest leads by two late.
Final moments, Hurricanes looking for the long three for the win, but it’s no good, and Klein Forest squeaks out a 65-63 win over Klein Cain.
