Klein Collins vs Dallas Jesuit - 2019 Texas High School Football Playoffs Week 3 Highlights

Let’s head up to Waco now, where Klein Collins takes on Dallas Jesuit…

Klein Collins already down 7-0 in the first when things get worse for the Tigers, Rance Holman launches deep downfield for EJ Smith, yep, that’s the son of NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, and Smith takes this one 95 yards for the score, Tigers trail 14-0.

Klein Collins gets on the board as Braelon Bridges takes the direct snap and trots in from 2 yards out, Tigers down 14-7.

It’s 21-7 in the third when Colby Powers finds a streaking Frank Hickerson over the middle of the field, it’s a 30-yard scoring strike and the Tigers trim the deficit to 21-14.

Then in the fourth, it’s Bridges with 2 more of his 178 yards on the ground, this touchdown ties it up at 21.

But Jesuit responds, as Smith dives across the goalline for an 8 yard touchdown with 52 seconds remaining, Klein Collins down 28-21.

One last chance for the Tigers, Powers launches it in to the end zone, but it’s intercepted, and Klein Collins’ season comes to an end with a 28-21 loss to Dallas Jesuit.
