First quarter, Longhorns trailing Collins 7-0, Hymond Drinkard (Drink-urd) gets the handoff, busts up the middle and he'll score. That's a 26 yard run and George Ranch ties it up.
Big night for Tiger running back Johnathan Lewis. The senior was an absolute workhorse Thursday night. He carried the ball 29 times for 270 yards including this huge 51 yard run down to the George Ranch 17.
A couple plays later, he punches it in from the 3 and Collins leads 21-14 in the 3rd.
The game would go back and forth. Here's Drinkard again. Up the middle through traffic and then breaks free for a 38 yard touchdown to tie it at 21 with just under 10 minutes left.
But Lewis would not let the Tigers lose. Here he goes with a 3 yard touchdown run with 5:50 to play. His 4th score of the night and Klein Collins wins it 28-21.
