The Klein Cain Hurricanes advanced to the next round of the high school soccer playoffs with a convincing 3-1 victory over the Bridgeland Bears. In a highly anticipated first-round matchup, Bridgeland struck first when James Duffy found the back of the net off a pass from Patrick McHugh, giving the Bears a 1-0 halftime lead. However, Klein Cain responded in the second half, equalizing on a penalty kick. Parker Glenn then gave the Hurricanes the lead, controlling a long free kick and rocketing a shot past the keeper.
