Klein Cain and Cy Falls finishing up their non district schedule Thursday night.
First quarter and as if shot out of a cannon, Cain's Darius Rodgers bursts straight up the middle and goes 66 yard for the score. Rodgers with 200 yards on the night for the Hurricanes.
Then, with Cy Falls respecting the ground attack, Issac Mooring with the play action and Maxwell Hendrick is wide open for a 63 yard touchdown. Cain up 34-7 at the half.
The Golden Eagles would get something going in the 3rd when Trey Morris would go up the middle for a 28 yard touchdown run.
But even when things went good, they went bad for Cy Falls, because Marcus Coleman would block the extra point and Robert Carroll takes it the other way for 2 points. Coleman with 2 interceptions to go along with the block. Klein Cain wins 50-27.
