Kinkaid vs Episcopal - 2019 Playoffs Week 1 Football Highlights

Kinkaid and Episcopal both fired up and ready to take home the SPC Championship…

Episcopal jumps out to a quick lead as Nick Mayberry tosses the short touchdown pass to Caleb Graham, Knights up 7-0.

But that early lead doesn’t last long, on the ensuing kickoff, Cameron Henry fields the kick at his own six yard line, and he sees a lane to run through. Henry hits the hole and takes it the distance, he goes 95 yards for the touchdown and the Falcons even the score at 7 apiece.

Episcopal answers on the ground. Quon Marion gets the carry and he explodes through a hole into the open field. He’s headed to the house as well, Marion races 71 yards for the score and it’s knotted up at 14-apiece at halftime.

The Episcopal rushing attack dominates in the 2nd half. Adrian Cormier takes this one to the end zone for 16 of his 119 yards on the night, and the Knights lead 21-14 in the third.

Meanwhile, Marion runs for 270 yards and three touchdowns, and this one provides the finishing touch on a 42-21 Episcopal win, as the Knights claim the SPC Championship for the first time since 2014.
