Kingwood Mustangs vs. Klein Forest Golden Eagles 2013 Basketball Week 7

Kingwood was hosting Klein Forest, the Mustangs needing a win and some help if they have any hopes of a postseason berth. Second half, Kingwood up by two, but off the inbounds pass the Eagles come up with a great play as Quentin Henderson catches the pass in mid-air and hits the jumper for 2 to tie the game. Logan Clift crashing the boards hard for Kingwood and gets the putback and he's fouled for a chance at 3 which puts the Mustangs back on top. Trevor Conn driving hard to the hoop and we'll call this a pass to Kyle Phillips who lays it up and in for the deuce. Klein Forest answers as Jordan Bates gets nothing but net on this three pointer to put the Eagles up by 2 where it would stay until the final 6 seconds. Mustangs inbounding the ball a 2 to tie a 3 for the win and Trevor Conn is wide open in the corner and how about this for a finish? Conn with Buzzer Beater three as Kingwood wins it 40-39 and the home crowd rushes the court to congratulate the hero of the game. It's a good thing for the fans and the young kids to see that when you come out and bust your tail and play a close game and you win it at the buzzer. We've been beaten at the buzzer probably 5-6 times with that same kind of shot so we were due. It's a good game we executed at the end of the time when it was necessary we hadn't run that play in a couple of weeks but he drew it up and we all executed he set a good screen for me Zach gave me a good pass and I knocked down the shot.
