Kingwood Mustangs vs. Dekaney Wildcats - 2013 Football - Week 5

Kingwood is off to a great start, both on the season and in their Friday night matchup with Dekaney leading 17-0 late 3rd quarter. The Mustangs defense was looking stellar, Adrian Hardy to pass and it goes through the hands of his intended receiver, and Zach Kotter is there for the pick. That leads to an early 4th quarter TD run from Sewo Olonilua, who gives an excellent effort on the run. Kingwood now up 24-0. The Mustangs were not done, later in the quarter, sophomore Griffin Lay breaks free and sprints his way 50 yards to extend the lead to 31-0. However, Dekaney denies the shutout. Late in the game, Demarcus Felton finds a lot of room to run, good enough for 67 yards putting the Wildcats on the board, but they come up short, falling to undefeated Kingwood 31-7.
