Killeen Lady Kangaroos vs Dekaney Lady Wildcats - 2015/16 Girls Basketball Regional Semifinals - 2/26/16

We move north to Dallas for a 6A Region 2 semi-final matchup between DeKaney an Killeen. DeKaney would jump out to an early lead in this one as Jay-lin Richard Harris attacks the paint and goes off the glass for an easy deuce. The Lady Wildcats would then turn up the heat on defense with the full court press. Killeen able to break it this time with Carmen Williams dishing to Cheyenne Johnson and she somehow gets this layup to fall, nice body control! DeKaney would settle in though as Kuh-nay Hamilton takes her defender off the dribble, nice move through the lane and finishes off the glass! Later DeKaney head coach Stacey Stroman draws up a perfect inbounds pass with Keyshawna Scott getting the layup. Later its Jay-lin Richard Harris beating the full court man to man and dishing to Scott for the hoop and the foul, DeKaney pulls away in the 2nd half winning by a final of 62 - 48, they advance to tomorrow's regional final.
