This week's MVP is Bobby Taylor of Katy. The Tigers defense is stacked with Division 1 talent, but one of the most consistent players on the Katy D is defensive back, Bobby Taylor.
Bobby Taylor was looking forward to a stellar senior season for the Katy Tigers until a hand injury in week 1 ended all that. Despite missing the rest of the year, Taylor had already established himself as one of the state’s best lockdown cornerback. Taylor helped the Tigers win the state title last year as he finished with a pick, 2 fumble recoveries and a couple touchdowns. Taylor verbally committed to Texas A&M to play his college ball.
