Katy vs Atascocita - 2019 Week 2 Football Highlights

Both Katy and Atascocita notched impressive season-opening wins last week, both looking for another big win in week two… Katy strikes first, Bronson Mclelland on the play-fake, he rolls out and airs it out deep for Jordan Patrick. And Patrick takes care of the rest. He goes 78 yards to the house for a Katy touchdown, it’s 7-0 tigers just like that. Atascocita responds through the air. Last week’s MVP on our show, Brice Matthews, firing into the end zone for Darius Edmonds, it’s a 36-yard scoring strike, and we’re knotted up at 7 apiece. Katy comes right back down the field, Ron Hoff gets the handoff and he bursts through the line and has plenty of daylight in front of him, 36 yards on the touchdown run, it’s 14-7 Katy. Meanwhile, Katy’s defense giving Matthews fits all night long. He’s forced out of the pocket and tries to create, but DQ Dawson dives in and is there for the Katy interception. It’s 21-7 in the 2nd, when Mclelland goes downfield for Steven Stiles, and check out this stylish catch, staying in bounds for the 24-yard touchdown reception. And the Tigers rout is on. Hoff finds the end zone one more time, and Katy cruises past Atascocita. 56-14 is the final.
