Moving to Rhodes Stadium now, where 5-1 Katy Tompkins takes on 5-0 Mayde Creek.
In the first, Tompkins Quarterback Jalen Milroe rolls to his right and fires into the end zone for Gabe Atkin. 10 yard touchdown and it’s 7-0 Falcons.
Later in the first, it’s same duo connecting on the deep ball, nice job by Atkin to pull down the grab for a 48-yard gain deep in Rams territory.
Moments later, RJ Smith takes the handoff, sees a hole and goes 12 yards for the score, Tompkins up 14-0 at halftime.
In the third, it’s the Tompkins defense stepping up, Trayden Herrman applies the pressure forcing Donte Jones to heave it up, and there’s Pryce Powell swooping in for the Falcons interception to set up Tompkins with good field position.
That leads to Smith’s second touchdown run on the night, this one from a yard out to put the Falcons up 21-0.
