Paetow was down 7-0 in the 2nd when Bryan Del Cid goes up the middle for a Paetow touchdown. That ties the game at 7
College Station answers back when big time Junior running back Marquise Collins makes a few moves and scores from 23 yards out. He finished with 193 yards rushing as the Cougars led 14-7.
Later 2nd quarter, C J Dumas throws the quick pass to Brandon Shanks and Shanks takes it all the way to the 1 yard line where they would later score to tie it up at 14.
College Station looking to take the lead with under a minute to play, but Kentrell Webb steps in front and makes the big pick. Huge turnover that kept the game tied going into halftime.
Same score in the 4th, when Dumas carries the pile into the end zone for his second touchdown of the game. 21-14 Paetow
After College Station kicks a field goal, it's the Panthers turn. Another 4th and 1 from the 3, Dumas pushes his way through and that's a close call. They got to measure it and they give Paetow a first down by an inch. Biggest break of the game because the next play, Brown goes in from the 2 yard line to win the game. Paetow earns it's first state title with a 27-24 overtime win.
