In the 2nd quarter, 7 Lakes keeps it on the ground with Nick David-West breaking some tackles and going 35 yards to the house, the Spartans taking all the momentum and a 21-0 lead at halftime.

After intermission the Cougars trailed 27-0, but Gavin Rutherford fires deep to Seth Salverino and Catches him in stride for a 55-yard TD pass, to cut the lead to 27-7.

Final seconds and Cinco Ranch down 8...Rutherford tries the hail-Mary but his pass is just out of reach of his receiver and Seven Lakes can celebrate! They move on to the playoffs with the 30-22 win and that moves Katy down to Division 2.
