At Ford Bend Ridge Point this year, if you didn’t have a couple guys keeping an eye on John Paul Richardson, you were in trouble. He made first team all district the last 3 years for the Panthers and was a big play waiting to happen. He finished the season with 35 catches for 660 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also played a little quarterback when needed. The son of former Texas A&M quarterback, Bucky Richardson, he proved to be just as much of a winner as his dad was as he helped lead Ridge Point to the regional final. John Paul will be heading to Oklahoma State next year as part of a dynamic receiving class for the Cowboys.
