Huntsville Hornets vs. Magnolia West Mustangs - 2013 Football - Week 7

Some sights and sounds from the Huntsville pep rally as the Hornets got ready for Magnolia West. Rick Ramos from Wiesner Chevrolet in Huntsville was an honorary captain. Magnolia West set the tone early on defense Ryan Bristow feels the heat from Xavier Jones and the Mustangs recover it inside the Huntsville 20 setting up an early 7-0 lead. An action packed first 12 minutes of football, on the ensuing kickoff Johnny Crew fields the kick and finds some room to run getting all the way to the Magnolia West 40. That would lead to Bristow finding the outstretched arms of Malik Brown in the end zone for a 19 yd. TD cutting the lead to 7-6. 2nd qtr. Austin Carroll stays on his feet for a 5 yard TD run giving Magnolia West a 14-6 lead. Carroll had a good night on defense too, deflecting the pass and Trent Parsons gets the pick, as the mustangs pick up the win 21-6.
