How Coach Jordan Rose Turned Brazosport Basketball into a State Powerhouse

The Brazosport High School boys basketball team recently made its first trip to the state semifinals since 2017, marking a massive turnaround for the Freeport, Texas program. Under the leadership of second-year head coach Jordan Rose, the Exporters transformed from a struggling team with only nine wins over two seasons into a state powerhouse boasting 51 victories in just two years. Coach Rose, a former assistant at Pearland Dawson, implemented a fast-paced, high-conditioning style of play to maximize the team's track speed and overcome a lack of size. Supported by a proud, blue-collar community and dedicated school administration, the Brazosport Exporters have established a new standard of excellence on the court.
