Houston Memorial Mustangs vs. Strake Jesuit Crusaders - 2013 Football - Week 5

Strake Jesuit hosted Memorial, and there was a little history made as the night marked the first time that sister school St. Agnes had its Tiger Girls dance team perform at a Crusaders football game. 1st qtr. Memorial with the ball, but the pass is tipped at the line and Tito Ejiogu gets the pick and look at the 6'0, 265 pounder chug down the sidelines, he plunges in for a pick six as Strake opened up an early 14-3 lead. Memorial comes right back, Matt Collins takes the handoff and rumbles untouched down the sideline for a 58 yard TD run cutting the lead to 14-10. 2nd qtr. Zach Zubia on the zone read keeps it and totes it in for a 21-10 Strake lead. The Crusaders defense was giving Memorial fits, Matthew Jordan can't find an open man and Ben Broussard makes him pay. Plays Final seconds of 1st half, Jordan keeps it and gets over the goal line to make it 21-17 it sparks the Mustangs as they roll on for the win.
