Houston Heights was hoping to slow down the red hot Texans of Lamar.
But check out this play in the first quarter. Jordan Reaves goes DEEP to Justin Howard behind the defense and Howard is not a man to get into a foot race with. That's a 85 yard score. Lamar up 6-2.
2nd quarter, Reaves tells Trey Douglas to "go up and get it" and that's exactly what Douglas does as he snatchs it away from the defender. Texans cruising.
Reaves decides he's done letting everyone else score and he takes it in himself from the 10. Lamar up 27-2 at the half.
3rd quarter, Reaves with the quick screen to Howard and I already told you what would happen in a foot race with Justin Howard....you lose....55 yard score and Lamar wins this 36-8
